DMUT Model and Data Processing Notice
Version: 2026-07-31 Effective: 31 July 2026
This Notice explains model connections, prompts, outputs and AI-content responsibilities. It supplements the User Service Agreement and Privacy Policy.
1. Model catalogue
The CN edition defaults to DeepSeek with model identifier deepseek-v4-flash and may offer deepseek-v4-pro. It permits only mainland-China model endpoints and local loopback models. The catalogue may also list providers such as Alibaba Cloud Bailian/Qwen, Zhipu and Moonshot, subject to the client and provider announcements.
DeepSeek publicly identifies “Deepseek Chat” under generative-AI service filing Beijing-DeepseekChat-202404280016 and deep-synthesis algorithm filing 网信算备330105747635301240017号. Provider names, filings and availability can change; the provider’s current disclosure controls.
No local model weights are promised in the installer. You acquire and operate any compatible local service, which DMUT restricts to loopback addresses.
2. BYOK path
A typical cloud request follows:
your device → selected model provider → your device
The DMUT authorization service does not proxy it and does not receive the prompt, attachment, output or API key for that reason. The provider may process account, prompt, attachment, output, network and billing data under its own terms. Review its retention, training, content-governance, cross-border and pricing rules.
A local request follows:
DMUT client → local loopback model service → DMUT client
3. Keys, input and output
You obtain, pay for and manage model keys. Store them only in the operating-system credential store or a product-designated secure location. Never put them in quote forms, tickets, logs, screenshots, shared workflows or public repositories; revoke and reissue a suspected key.
Minimize prompts and do not submit state secrets, trade secrets, unauthorized personal information, sensitive information or copyrighted material you have no right to process. Model output may invent facts, citations or code and may be biased or insecure. Material outputs need appropriate human review and may not be the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, employment, credit or safety decisions.
4. AI-generated content labels
DMUT identifies AI-generated or AI-assisted content in the user interface. When exporting, downloading, copying or publishing content that law requires to be labelled, use and retain available visible and metadata labels. Do not remove, alter, forge or help evade them. Declare AI origin when a receiving platform requires it. Content that lacks a legally required label should not be published in a misleading way.
5. Charges and availability
Software authorization excludes model API charges. Model price, context, rate limit, region, availability and retirement are controlled by the provider. DMUT may adjust the catalogue, default identifier or migration rules for security, compliance and compatibility, with notice where the effect is material.
